Cardiologist
Associate Professor Nagesh Anavekar is a leading cardiologist renowned for his expertise in echocardiography and management of complex cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, heart failure, and valvular heart disease. He is Head of Echocardiography at Northern Hospital and an Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Melbourne. A Harvard-trained cardiac imaging specialist, he has authored over 200 publications advancing understanding of cardiac function and disease.
Dedicated to excellence in patient care, Associate Professor Anavekar combines advanced diagnostic techniques with a patient-centred approach, offering comprehensive services including transthoracic and stress echocardiography, and Holter monitoring.

Alicia is a cardiac sonographer with experience in both hospital and private practice settings. Over the years, Alicia has worked with a wide range of patients and clinical conditions, which has given her a strong understanding of the important role echocardiography plays in heart health.
